A threat....and a plea

This is a pic from today. People trying to keep their few things they have left. click on the small sign, and read the sign. They can't put the stuff back in the building because the buildings are condemned or damaged. As much as I love New Orleans, they were not the only ones to get hurt. Where is our government? They can launch a military attack in 72 hours, it's been TWO MONTHS.....what's their excuse?

As a mother of military children and a sister in law to 2 family members also in the military, only the National Guard can come in and help restore order and that plea has to come from your Govenor which wasn't done from the beginning. Had she declared Marshal Law from day 1, I'm sure things wouldn't have gotten so bad. Also ask where your local police are. I live in Biloxi MS so I know the devestation first hand. You might start asking your government where all the fund money went for the levees because they were in dire need of major repairs for years and never got it. Good Luck to you and your family.

Michelle,

These pictures are in Pasacoula, Ms., right next to you. I live in Mobile, Alabama. Not New Orleans.

I don't know about all the politics in the area. I was just commenting on the sorrow of the situation. While my family had a little damage, nothing like y'all did.

I appreciate the sacrifices you and all your family members make to keep us, the country, free and safe. I stand in awe of the strength and fortitude of the soldiers and their families. And also stand behind them. But I also question the situation in Ms, why it's still like it is, and I hope you understand.

Thank you for your comment.
